Why did I read this? I have read several books by David Baldacci and enjoyed them so now I am attempting to read through his backlist.
Nicolas Creel is the world’s largest arms manufacturer and sales aren’t good enough for him so he hires a perception manager to increase business for him, by manipulating the facts and presenting alternate facts. Shaw, no first name works for a ubiquitous international agency that is involved in stopping Creel. Shaw is manipulated by many around him, but he manages to prevent World War III from erupting. So much of this material rings true today.
